Paid 500 for passport verification

After giving all the documents the officer doesn't leave. He tells some more address proof documents are required even after giving sufficient documents. He starts asking for documents that are not available. He was giving a signal indirectly for a bribe. As he wasn't leaving I gave Rs. 200/- then he demands for another 200...i tried resisting by saying there is no change and he says that he will give change and took 500/- but leaves immediately without giving any change. Felt very bad. I was very determined before he came of saying no to bribe but couldn't escape from giving a bribe.
