Paid bribe for office Laptop

I was on official trip to USA and a took a laptop from India with all Custom documents. During my stay I took a HP laptop there. When I came back to Mumbai somehow the guy who put luggage on the Scanners in Green Channel sensed that I have 2 laptops and offered to pass out everything for $20. I refused as I had all the documents. But the checking officer caught me and was telling me that I can't get 2 lappy inside country and I have to drop one of the Laptop here or pay duty double the price of Laptop. I showed him documents which he didn't even look. At last he agreed for $90(because I had only that much dollars) and left me after 30 mins of arguments. The interesting part is Officer told me to give money to the Security man guarding the gate. What an understanding. I wonder how much they earn even if they catch 10 guys per day.
