This happened when i took the two wheeler driving licence. At that time i was doing engineering in a college at chennai. I took leave that specific day and went to the RTO ground at thiruvannamalai to put '8' in their track. I borrowed my friend's bike and completed the task exceptionally well as i used to drive bike alot those days. Some guys who came via driving schools didnt do well and they stumbled while doing it. The RTO inspector handed over everyone's paper except me. I went and asked him about my papers but he asked me to ********** him in his office. I thought there would be some mistakes in my paper but real fact is my papers hadn't had the the real paper(money) they needed. I met him in his office and he told in his tamil slang that 'Yarachu oruthara fail akanum illa athan unna fail akitaen'(someone must be failed right thats why i failed you). Driving schools getting a bulk money from their students and handing over shares to respective RTO officals later. With more frustration and agony i came out of the office. At that time i saw a quite big queue awaiting to take driving licence photo. I was fuming when i saw the guys who stumbled in the RTO ground. After a month i gave 1000 rupees to a shop near to RTO office and they completed all the task without my assistance. The worst thing is, that day i directly went and took the driving licence photo without even showing my driving skills at RTO ground. Uncontrollable bribe is a shame for India. This is an ultimate reason why many countries not accepting Indian driving licence as a international one. Bribe must be uprooted completely otherwise it will create **********for common people. *******
