Towing Police Van demanded bribe of RS. 1500 for releasing the vehicle

MH 12 LT 4431 - Police Van number. Location: Aundh, opposite crossword book store, evening 5 pm.
I had parked my vehicle in no parking zone. A few days back it used to be a parking space, but there was just a small signboard written in pen with no details of whom the order is from.
The towing van people came and picked my vehicle and threw it into the van.
Upon requesting to pay the fine on the spot, they refused and said you will have to come to police station and take the vehicle after three days time. Also, it may get vandalised and destroyed while transporting and they will not be held responsible.
Had to pay a bribe of Rs, 1500 to the local guys who were in charge of picking up the vehicles while the police officer happily sat inside the van.
