I was driving my care from Bangalore to Chennai with my family and I was nearing my destination an ambulance in front of me braked suddenly and I my car hit the backside of the ambulance. The ambulance was not damaged but my car was damaged very bad. I went to the nearest police station (Koyambedu, Chennai). I told them my side of the story and to my shock they told me that they will put a case of rash driving and a fine of 1500/- inspite of me telling the side of the story clearly but this was not accepted and the ambulance owner clearly told me that he has not complaint against me. Since I had to get a police letter for my insurance I have say yes for the "Rash Driving". The police gave me a report and then the police man came to my residence and took the Rs 1500/- and when I asked for the challan for the fine he told me that that cannot be given and he smiled and walked away nonchalantly.
