WHAT IS THE TIME LIMIT TO ISSUE AN APL CARD , AS I HAVE TRANSFERRED AND SURRENDERRED MY LETTER FROM SRINGERI TO AUTHORTIES IN JULY @ f&CS DEPT, BUT TILL NOW NOT RECEIVED THE APL CARD
Unfortunately, according to the Food and Civil Supplies Department's citizens' charter, no time limit is prescribed for the same. I would suggest that you make a complaint to the Deputy Director of the Food and Civil Supplies Department of Chikkamagalur District, about the delay in issuing of APL cards. One of the reasons why they might be delaying is that the department was undertaking a drive to eliminate bogus cards. Still, this should be a justification for indefinitely delaying the issue of a card to you.
