I was in need of my Marriage certificate.we got married at Tiruchendur.since our native place is Tuticorin,we went to near by saub registrar office with the help of one person,who was known to my father-in law.That person even did not know which form he had to fill.Finally we signed the form gave it to the chief of the sub- registrar office and we came out.
Suddenly the person who was helping us ,came out and asked for Rs 1,000/- to give it to the chief & other inside the office.
whoever inside the office were not asking directly.in term they had a dealing with this person to collect the money and share among themselves.
If the instructions( like which form,price,whom to give etc) are printed on board in any government offices ,there is no need to refer any private persons or brokers.
For getting a driving license,learners permit,passport amd many others still many of us including me dont know the procedure exactly and depend on private brokers or whoever the persons standing infront of the corresponding office.
Right now I am in USA,I thought of getting the driving license,so I browsed on internet and got every single details,needed to get the license.This is the system here.
