Asked me to bribe for house loan even after having all the valid documents.
I recently bought a land in Hyderabad and started construction with some money which i borrowed it from others for a high interest.This land was registered on my father's name.We approached a private bank for a housing loan with all the documents and they informed us that they cannot sanction the loan as my father's service is going to end in 2 years and they asked to register the land to my name to get the loan. So,the land registered on my name for which i again spend 70K INR.It took about 3-4 months and when i went to them with all valid documents they asked me to pay (3%) as bribe out of total loan amount.I got so frustrated and didnt go for that loan.
At last i ended up paying additional 70 INR for the re-registration and from the last one i am paying the interests which i borrowed for the house construction and now my house construction was also stopped.
Instead of paying the interests i could have gone for bribe through which i could have saved lot of money for me,time and my construction would not have been stopped.
I am not telling this to gain sympathy but just want to tell you that corruption is everywhere(government & private sectors) and alarmingly at all levels and it doesn't mean that all employees are corrupt.
I will be very much satisfied if my story will serve for the cause of this website in any way.
First step in eradicating corruption in government sector is to send home aging employees/buerocrats etc who are corrupt and these people are not accountable for anything except increasing their own illegal property through bribes.
Even employee unions also need to support government in this regard for a better future of india.
Hope atleast some of my points are in a constructive way as per the rules of this website.
