I underwent the aadhar biometrics but I was not given mine and my spouse’saadhar receipt. I was asked to pay bribe here to get the receipts. The enrollment officer had no clue that passport is a valid proof of address (it has our permanent address) and she refused to accept it. She asked us to get rent agreement which is embarrassingly surprising. I said that I will take a photo of the acknowledgement number or note it down. The official refused stating printer is not working and asked me to come in couple of days and ask for an acknowledgement by citing my name. I resisted but was not heard and had to return.
Here are the prominent issues I faced at the center.
1. The operator was rude.
2. Acknowledgement receipt was not provided.
3. Did not accept passport as the valid proof of address, though both me and my spouse carry valid passports with spouse name endorsed, moreover bearing our permanent address.
4. Operator entered incorrect data despite being alerted, e.g. she kept entering ration card as proof of Identity, though I never gave one. I had to call her attention to this twice, yet she neglected and finally when I put my foot down- she changed it.

With this service, I am not sure whether I will even get my aadhar card receipt, forget the actual card. In all to say the least the center in not equipped adequately and has rude/incompetent operators.
Please take action against this center and save the agony of many ignorant customers.
