Declared the actual amount on sale deed
The developer suggested to enter a much lower value of the property in sale deed to skip the higher amount of registration fee, though I had made him agree to receive the full amount in white. It was like committing a fraud on the govt. I resisted and asked my developer to write the full amount in the sale deed. As a result, I paid Rs 180,000 extra towards registration fee, but felt proud to have espoused the honesty and personal integrity.
