I rejected the bribe request
I was asked a bribe of 500 rupees by a police officer for passport verification on 5th march 2018 at around 5 in the evening; at Gali chahrha chowki, which comes under the chowk kotwali. When i tried to reject, the officer said everyone from the chowki to the officials at the passport office gets a cut and if i don't pay up they will cancel my application and will not give me clearance.
After which i won't be able to apply for passport.
