At the International Airport
I am a student and presently pursuing my higher education outside the country. Upon my arrival to Ahmedabad, India for a short vacation trip like everyone (Indian citizen / non-citizen) I also had to undergo the customs clearance. My luggage was much below the customs permission and I had not carried liquor (need to mention this as liquor is prohibited in Gujarat). Immediately after luggage claim some young men in blue dress(uniform?) came to me and offered "help" to pick mu luggage it was later i could comprehend that this is the first step towards asking for bribe. After customs scanning one person in 'the' uniform asked me to give 'chai paani' ! And I firmly said, my items are per customs guidelines and I refuse to give anything.
