Visited the Tirumala temple during 2008 winter and experience in getting the rooms
I visited tirumala with my family(parents and kids) in the year 2008.We had to made a long journey to reach the hills and really we were very tired.Kids were tired too.My father reserved a room for us and by the time we reached hills the person responsible to hand over the keys was missing.We decided to get a room by standing in the line(we reached the hills by foot and so we had a token for a room)We waited 4 hours and the lines were not moving.I just had a chance to look what the people inside are doing.People stopped their work and start chit chat.I was annoyed and shouted on them.They gave me the room key and I thanked the god and went to see the room before occupy.The room is disgusting and is full of cockroaches.I felt very bad and decided not to occupy the room.
It was a terrible experience.We pay money for the services and people do not do their work.They do not even leave places of worship.
