I Nitin Kumar had gone to submit my Food License" application on 30-1-14 at FSSAI office, Sheshadripuram, near slum board. On contacting the concerned person for my locality i.e., Mr. Naganna, he refused to accept my application and said the same would be accepted only at SJP college canteen, KR Circle, saying that the same would be nearer to my office. On meeting him, even after giving Rs 2000 as prescribed fee, he demanded additional Rs 3000 per application for forwarding my application or else the same would be thrown. The rate was discounted as i went to submit 5 applications. As there was no other option and as he was the only channel of processing the my request, i was forced to succumb to pressure as the deadline for food license was 4-2-14.
