Bribe for Passport police verificaiton

I live in Delhi since last 10 years, in approx 2013 (I didn't remember exact data) I applied for passport, when police officer arrived at my home for police verification I have showed him all my valid docs, still he was creating different excuse, like he was asking rent aggrement for last 5 year, but I had only for last 1 year, I have give valid voter card, SBI bank statement, and every valid address proof still he was not verifying, then my friend told me to give him some money, after that I give him 1500 and he verified my address. Really disappointed,
