I moved to India from UK permanently and I arrived Delhi on 29th January, 2011. I was carrying my Old 40 inch LCD of Sony (2 Year old). Custom person named ********** asked for custom. He was using price of new TV to calculate . I also want to highlight that TV was W series and even Sony has stopped the production of it 1.5 yrs ago. He told me that custom will be 5000 and I need to pay in INR. I didn't have that much in cash. He told me to put 2000 Rs. in Passport and hand it over to him. He allowed me to take TV out.
