Corruption in trains (Punjab mail)
I was coming back home recently from Bangalore via train. I had to catch a train to Punjab from Delhi on 3rd Oct. Because of my train from Bangalore (Sampark Kranti) got late by 6 hrs. I missed my train and had to travel via Punjab mail. No reservation was available, os had to take a unreserved ticket. TT in train was giving seats to every body for a charge of 150 Rs per seat. Not sure how he got the seats but he was doing all kind of settlement and giving seats. I had to pay him 150 Rs to get the seat, for which he issued me no receipt but just took away the money.
