I have to pay a bribe of rs. 500 INR for preverification of my passport on 4th July, 2016, Monday at AJC Bose B Garden police station at 12:30 noon. He first asked me for my valid original documents and gave me a form to fill it up. After the whole process was done, I was about to leave my seat then he asked for 500 INR, I hesitated a little bit but then he became more loud than the previous time and I gave the asked amount to him and asked for a memo to see whether it is officially taken or a bribe. He ensured me that nothing would be given and my passport will be at my home in proper time. I left the place. As much I can remember that his name was Mr. Biswanath and he was a resider of Mourigram as his colleagues asked him by this name.I don't know his designation.
