I paid a bribe for passport verification

• Paid INR 300

The person asked me for bribe saying that they need to post the verification documents to Delhi and I am supposed to pay 300 (he asked more money too for "kharcha paani") for posting. I tried to ask why and all and he got kinda rude and then I asked my father and he said pay him 200 and settle it, as he did not want any problem in verification of passport. I feel guilty for that.
IDK his name or post but he was from Sardarpura Thana, Jodhpur.
He was in my house while he asked for this.
