It was 2008,when we went to get the registartion of plot we purchased we are made to pay 1000 Rs for getting the work done.
I asked why i should pay ,and whether i will get the receipt for the same, then i was told that this is a must for work to be done otherwise they will make you to run behind them for years together.
This was my story what really frightinh was there were thousands of farmers and other poor people,most of them uneducated came to get their land papers or registratin ,everyone was made to pay the bribe,and they even were not aware of what for they are paying for.
In the registartion office,they created such a atmosphere that every one is made to pay in a manner that no onw will even try to ask ,it looks as if it is(paying bribe) part of the proceedure .It eas disgating to see that poor people made to pay their hard earned money.
