I had applied for new passport and it came to local police station for verification after 25 days. And I received a call from police station that my inquiry had come and I have to report within two days otherwise we will send it back to Patna with “not found” remarks, so I rush to Siwan (bihar) town police station and met with inquiry officer with two witnesses, an introduction letter from ward commissioner along a judicial affidavit.
After submitting all document (with two witnesses, an introduction letter from ward commissioner along a judicial affidavit) to officer. He finally accepted and asked 1000Rs for verification as everyone was paying. Finally I given him Rs 800rs, Rs100 to clerk and Rs 100 to guard.
