I needed marriage certificate urgently. I got married in Bihar, which requires 2 months time for marriage registration. Only two states in India do not follow 'Hindu Act 1958' based on which registration can be done faster!! Anyways, i went to Ghaziabad Court and paid Rs 9000 to get my marriage certificate..... I was amazed the speed in which it was done. Everything was over in 2 hrs. Money does make people work faster. It acts as oil in the rusted bureaucratic Indian system.
