Purchased a piece of land and got it registered at Chaka Tehsil in Allahabad. The sub-registrar signalled his clerks and they asked for the bribe whcih should be equal to the the amount paid to the Government. When refused I was threatened of bad consequeces in future - Aap jaaoge kahan... zamin tho wahin rahegi naa. Finally I was given papers only when I shelved out Rs. 10500.
