We were traveling from Calangute to Madgaon railway station. The police guy caught us not wearing a helmet(which I removed just half a km away due to scorching temperatures). We were students our hired scooty broke down we had no money on us then. I admit it was a mistake but in those circumstances he could've let us go with a warning. He did not do that and asked for 100 bucks. I could not do anything but pay. I was totally helpless.
