Paid 500 rs for police verification

I was asked to pay 1000 rs as fees for police verification. I had all the documents but he said that he started threatening me and told he will find some mistakes and will send negative feedback . So i paid 500 rs and he took the amount. Next time if i go to any police station i will carry a spy cam or will record the conversations. Have to teach lessons to this culprits.
