Paid bribe for bike towed from parking place

Evening I parked my bike and went to a restaurant. The parking place was not blocking the road nor it was on footpath. And there was no board mentioning NO PARKING. But when i returned back my bike was towed by the Electronic City traffic police. After going to the police station they demand me to pay 1000 bribe, thought it was their mistake. I feel so disappointed as this is happend for the 2nd time in 6 months.The incident happened at 7.30 pm, 23/11/19. The location is electronic city phase-1
