A Rs.100 note at each counter

• Registration of Flat or Apartment

While registering the purchase of our new apartment, there was detailed paperwork that needed to be verified and signed at a number of counters (atleast 4-5 from what I remember) at the government registration office.
Our property developer "advised" us to slip in a Rs.100 note amongst our paperwork at each counter to hasten the process. We didn't ask questions, and just did as instructed. And it was welcomed at each and every counter.
