Netmagic to offer enterprise cloud services with Nutanix

Bengaluru, June 19 (IANS) Managed service provider Netmagic, the Indian arm of Japanese telecom major NTT Communications, on Monday said that it would offer private cloud services on Nutanix enterprise cloud platform to data centres.

"Nutanix platform lowers ownership cost, enhances security, scalability, reliability and flexibility for enterprises and provide them a customised solution to their IT infrastructure," said the Mumbai-based Netmagic in a statement.

Partnering with Nutanix will also enable Netmagic to deploy applications faster and scale rapidly as they grow, it added.

"We provide a well-structured approach to private cloud design and development, keeping in view the business needs to scale up through hybrid IT or virtual private cloud environment for higher return on investmet," said Netmagic Chief Executive Sharad Sanghi in the statement.

The partnership will enable both to grow in the finance services sector and e-commerce verticals across the countgry and expand into untapped markets.

According to Nutanix India Managing Director Sunil Mahale, Netmagic's understanding of the local market, its reach and strong client base offers a robust and secure private cloud solution to enterprises.

"The enhanced service offering consolidates our leadership position in the cloud industry," claimed Sanghi on the occasion.

The Nutanix platform blends web-scale engineering and consumer-grade design to natively converge server, storage, virtualisation and networking into a resilient, software-defined solution with rich machine intelligence.

"The result is predictable performance, cloud consumption models, robust security and seamless application mobility for all enterprise applications," added Sanghi.

With nine carrier-neutral, data centers and 2,000 enterprises worldwide, Netmagic also delivers Remote Infrastructure Management (RIM) services to global enterprises, including NTT Communication's customers across Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific region.
