10 rs from each shopkeeper daily
This is a conversation i had with a shopkeeper in my area in Ramamurthynagar, Bangalore. He told me that every day the shopkeepers in the area have to pay Rs.10 to the local police station otherwise if any problem comes they wouldnt repond, and our being a remote area they have to comply. Rs.10 per shop is very less, bt there are about a 1000+ shops in 4 km radius atleast and that amounts to a collection of atleast Rs.10,000 daily and abt 3 lacks in a month. Anyone hearing???
