Asked to pay Rs 200/- 'fees' for police verification of passport
I visited the neighboring police station for passport verification yesterday and submitted one year address proof and age proof photocopies along with two photographs. The writer then asked me to pay Rs 200/- as fees. When I asked if I will get a receipt for the same, he said no. I just walked out. Now, I don't know whether he will give a favorable report or not.
