Averted manned Police checkpoint
Only certain types of Police can be at Random manned check points. Often out of state vehicles are targeted for bribes if it looks like you are being chauffered by a driver. My relative recogized that the wrong police where manning a check point ( just trying to make extra money). We where told to pull over, we dodged the officer and shouted from the back window that we where delhi police ( dont mess with us or waste your time pulling over the wrong people, (in other words) and called them a ********** name.) This was okay as we knew they did not have a car there to pursue us further. me being a white foreigner, traveling with my NRI husband, I was told before we approached the road block to cover my face Rajasthani style with my **********. Scary incedent, but since it worked out okay..thrilling at the same time! hahaha No bribe that time! hahaha
