Combining 2 & 4 wheeler licences into a common smart card
I decided not to use an agent since I was on a weeks leave. I went though all the formalities & paid Rs.700 as fine & charges for the above. It took me 3 visits to complete the formalities. However event after further 6 visits my licience was not issued sighting missing records, errors in their own work etc. I could see the man at counter collecting money from various agents to get their work done, however I was determined not to pay a bribe. Finally after 9 visits & about 40 days I got my smart card. Wondering if paying a bribe or using an agent would have been wiser in this country...
