On 20th Nov 2014 at around 6.40 Pm. Five of us in the family( my mother aged 80 years,wife,sister and her husband)were travelling from G Noida towards Kalindi Kunj. At the Mahamaya Flyover bend we were stopped by police who appeared to be set for fishing.Our dicky was checked then one by one documents like registration,driving license,insurance were asked for checked and found in order. We failed to show pollution certificate which probably was misplaced /lost.( normally I am very particular) A sum of Rs 400 was asked for allowing us to go. We paid official demand of Rs 1000 for which receipt was given. One police persons name was Ranvir Singh.They hardly had any fear of the wrong doing. In fact on taking his photograph he joked that pl do as I was not photographed even in my marriage. He had a bizarre explanation for asking for the bribe. I have an audio of their demand
