Do we have to pay to recieve our Stipend??
We study in M. Tech and since we had cleared the GATE exam, we are entitled to get the stipend (Rs. 8000 per month for two years) and while registering for the stipend the person who was looking after this allotment asked each students to pay Rs. 300 to speed up the whole process. Finally when we agreed he released our first half yearly stipend but when we did not arrange for money he started pressurizing us saying that he would release our second stipend early or it would take atleast another 6 months. so the students collected the money and instead of giving him money they arranged for a party.
