Driver License Confiscated in the view of Reckless Driving section 184
Hi I was just issued a traffic ticket wherein the traffic police stated that I was driving recklessly. To begin with -
1) I was not over speeding, my two-wheeler was moving less than 20 km/hr which is obviously not a overspeeding sign.
2) I was trying to make a U turn in between a road, where there was no clear demarcation about to take a U-turn or not.
The Officer has confiscated my driving license. I have the PUC certificate. I have the Insurance copy. I have the vehicle papers with me - but he never asked them.
He was demanding 700 Rs.
Can you please help? The ticket says as the offence was - Lo to traffic.he has asked me to report to Worli Traffic head quarters and pay the fine to redeem my license. How much fine I have to pay?
