Drove on Red *******
This happened when i finished my examinations of Master of Marketing Management from St. Francis Institute of Management & Research, Borivali West, and was traveling back by my two wheeler to my place at Bhayandar. On one traffic signal at Dahisar, clutch-plate of my 12 year old vehicle damaged and my bike's engine decline to start over. Bike refused to start even when it was green signal.
I don't like any vehicle honking on me, but that was the only time I digested all the sounds because it was my fault. I tried many times for manual kicks and the vehicle started on red. I drove on the Red Signal. Two police constables were waiting with both their hands open on the other side of the signal.
I explained them what happened. They saw me from beginning, as it is the vehicle stopping traffic always is the center of attraction. They understood and let me go.
The constable's name was Mr.Patil. He was kind and patient to understand the situation. For the first time I realized that Police are meant to protect and they do their job fairly well.
Thank you Mumbai Police to stay closer to me.
