Experience made me feel cops cant stoop below this level!!!
This happened on the way to Srinagar from Banashankari. I was driving a Kinetic Honda which had a "L" board. I hold a driving license for more than 10 yrs now. I had to use this bike because I had to rush to a funeral.The cop stopped me and verified my papers. He however didnt return my license and registration and asked me why i was driving a vehicle with an L board when i held a DL. I told him i was rushing to a funeral and drove whatever vehicle( my sister's) was available at that time.He said it was a violation and I was confusing drivers. He did expect a bribe, but i told him i just dont have any money on me and have to rush before the funeral completes. After a little begging around, he let me go!!!
