Father death certificate
I lost my father in America way back in 2001, this was published in the local newspaper in U S, the city council has even issued a death certificate.
When we went to the local muncipal office in thane along with the certificate issued by the city council of California to register it they first of all were confused and were not able to read english, seconly they asked me to pay Rs. 500/- cash as it needs lot of formalities to be cleared. i just left the muncipal office and till date i have not registered my father death in our local muncipality. We don't even spare the person who is dead.
