I was very new in Pune and didnt knew the road. Add to that I was just returning from a stressful meeting. Eitherways, I reached a traffic signal and saw all the vehicles in front of me moving. Thought the signal was green and joined them. All of a sudden traffic police just sponced at us. Few of the vehicles just zoomed past them and we were caught.
After talking to them I found out that the signal was yellow when I passed. There were 7 more vehicle owners with me. Few of them shouted on Traffic police that why didnt they stop the early movers and this and that...
As usual Traffic police didnt relent as asked for license. If we gave license they asked for PUC if we gave PUC asked for registration papers. Few people even produced that but then they asked for insurance paper and so forth. Finally some of us started to relent then They just asked 500Rs for each one of us and finally came down to 200 and then 50. But i was disgusted with their approach and said "I wont pay" and asked for challan. All called be a idiot but finally i paid 200 as fine and rode my bike proudly.
