I Refused to Pay Bribe of Rs 40,000 for Getting My Appointment Order & Tweet 2 Edu Minister
Department of Higher Education, Assam or DPI - most notorious office for stinking filth of corruption. Got selected as an Asstt Prof, Pol Sc at a reputed college under Gauhati University but was asked to pay a bribe of Rs40,000 for getting my Appointment Order signed by the Director, DHE/DPI,Assam. I refused to pay it & instead Tweet to Assam's new Education Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma about my ordeal. He responded swiftly & my job was done, at last!
