I got a call from ASI Gurgaon police that he needs to do the police verification of passport for my daughter and asked for my availability at home. Since i was at my office he asked me come down to market in gurgaon where he was on duty. he gave me all the papers which required to be signed by my neighbours. then he asked for the bribe which i refused. then he asked me to go to a photostat shop and get him 20 copies of the police verification form which i agreed to (now i realise that i shouldnt have done that). when i cam back with the form duly signed by my neighbours along with their photo id proofs( driving licenses from rajasthan govt) ASI told me that these wont work and i need to get him local id proofs. he again asked for the bribe and i refused again and asked him why is he asking for it. he asked me to go and get the documents. i came back to the ASI with asked documents. this time he was satisfied with docs but still asked for bribe. i refused again and came back to my house.
