Just another in Bangaluru

Place: Traffic signal junction at sankey tank.
Im in Bangalore for past 3 months and dont know about the roads and places much.
I was on my way to office, took right turn from CPRI went through residential areas of RMV extension reached at sankey tank signal junction, by following an auto who told me follow him to reach new airport road through magic box.
The signal was at red and I stopped. Then a Trffic police inspector came, told me come aside, took my DL, and told me to pay Rs. 500/- I was pretty shocked and asked "what did I do" he said "you came from a one way and no entry road", He didn't say anything to that auto person and but caught me.!!
Then I bagained.!! requested just for no entry you are asking me to pay Rs. 500!! Finally I paid Rs.200, and demanded a receipt which was very hesitant to give because he had given me huge dicount of Rs.300...
Well, Im happy that I took the receipt which goes to government,instead in his pocket. I hope atleast 10% of Rs.200 would be spent for public.
