Map approval
Few years back, I wanted to do some addition/alterations in my house. The map was submitted and got approved but the dealing person was not handing over the approved copy without bribe of Rs.2000.00. I submitted letter in this regard and continued to carry out the work against all types of threats from the concerned officials. Ultimately after the work was over,, a person from Lucknow development Authority came to my house and handed over the approved map with the request to sign the receipt without mentioning the date of receipt. The moral of the story is that don't yield to undue pressures if you are right in your deals. Just bring facts on records to keep the matter informed to higher authorities as your safeguard.
