Marriage Certificate Attestation by Home Department of UP
I wanted to get attestation of my marriage certificate from UP home department to get it apostille according to Hague Convention for giving to embassy. The official in charge sits in Surajpur court complex by the name of Arvind Sharma (clerk of ADM(E), Noida). He helped me a lot to prepare the affidavits and also in tracking the marriage certificate send to resident commissioner office by speed post. In the end i didnt pay a single rupee as bribe nor did he demand it, even though it looked like there was too much delay in procedure, but delay was due to postal department and resident commissioner office end.
