Middleman Run the Show
At Guwahati Passport Office, pay through Dalal, 4/5 thousand rupees, easily in a month / 3 months get your pass port or renewed. If they find you honest, they will make problem and problem. In the name of Police verification ... years will pass. Even District Office send police verification, they reply they have not received. In my case it delayed so much that it went to the new system now (PSK). Earlier Police verification which was sent to Passport office has become null and void. Once again police verification is required. Passport office take the advantage of Corruption in Police to their advantage. These officers / staff who have been paid by the Govt, feel they are doing mercy on the public by issuing passport. They forget that it is their duty. These people 99.99% are not helpful to public. Why such people who are not at all helpful for the public are given public servats job. Is the Deptt so week that they cannot make accountability to those dealing officer / clerk. Why there is no system why some applicant's passport is not issued for years together ? Will the top boss of the deptt / Miniostry will look into ? or he is also equally corrupt to pay deaf ear to publice grivances.
********** (Assam). Earlier in the Passport office of Guwahati, although they say they give preference for On Line applying, practically it is not. They make a system of chaos inside the Office so that to avoid one will pay bribe. They deliberately creat this chaos. You try to ********** the higher official, they will not give you permission to see senior officer. That means there is no body to listen to your grivances. Alas ! we are born in corrupt country. But we all have to get together to throw away all these corrupt officials/ workers who are not less than crimanals to punish them. Openly police is taking money from Trucks/ vehicles at check gates, donot the Govt /Ministry the top police officials see this or donot know this or donot want to listen. This givens an indication that all of them are corrupt. the 0.001% honest officials suffer for pressure from those top corrupt officers/ Ministers.
When Ministers are jailed for corruption, do more proof required. Some polioticians say give proof, I shall take action. !
Hah! It is common man's duty to find out corruption ! and inform to the Ministry ?
