Mr. Basavaraj (RI), Mahadevapura BBMP asked to pay Bribe else he will look into
We submitted 4 Khata applications at BBMP Mahadevapura on behalf of our clients (who due to professional commitments, cannot come and do submit & followup with BBMP offices). On during my followup on the cases, the file was with Revenue Inspector (Mr. Basavaraj) demanded to pay him BRIBE. On asking why he wanted bribe as being a govt. official, its his duty to provide status update on the Khata (where we patiently waited), he informed that he cannot do anything then. On demanding explanation, he informed that he will look into the same (donot know what he means by LOOK INTO).
ARO was absent at that time, and we moved to RO office and then to Joint commissioner. As all of them were not into their seats (time was 03:30 pm on 13-Mar-15), one lady official (who sits next to Joint commissioner) asked to submit the same information, so that JC can look after. I submitted the application on the same and was asked to check the status on 18-March-2015. Provided my mobile number so that official (can call and verify with me, if needed).
Khata applications which was submitted are as:
1) T Suryanaraynaa (KTR/CR/747/14-15)
2) Unnikrishnan (KTR/CR/736/14-15)
3) Babu Seshiah (KTR/CR/737/14-15)
4) Rajesh KS (KTR/CR/613/14-15)
