New BSNL Broadband Connection
I applied a new BSNL broadband connection last year. I paid 500 rs as per the law for new connection. They told me that the rest of the amount will come in the bill which was fine because I knew how much it was. Then the day came when the lineman came and fixed the telephone instrument and gave the connection. When everything was done he asked me for some money for "chai & pani". I said no, and then he went. After 2 days my BSNL phone goes dead. And that's when I thought it may be because I didn't gave any bribe to the lineman. However my friends and family told me to give him some money and he will do it right away. Then I called the BSNL coustomer care from my friends house and filled a complaint. Then after 5 days I again called the customer care guys and told them that I already filed a complaint 5 days back and no one solved my problem. Then I asked them that "Is this because I didn't gave bribe to the lineman at the time of installation. And if yes please tell me how much bribe I have to pay to get my phone working again." The customer care guy was shocked and he transferred the call to his manager. The very next day a lineman came and fixed the issue. After 1-2 hrs the Director of BSNL, Kottapet circle called me and asked me about the whole issue. So, friends if someone is not working don't ask the person directly. Go to his senior officer and ask him a question that how much do I have to give bribe to get my work done because no one is doing my work so that clearly means I have to bribe you. It worked for me :)
