No meter replacement without bribe !
I live in ********** Khand-4 in Indirapuram. My meter replacement request is pending in Electricity office for more than 9 months. I have to pay a very high bill every month because of non-functioning meter. I have been to electricity office dozen of times and requested them to process the application but for no use. Everytime they tell me that the meters are out of stocks. Another neighbour got meter replaced within few days by paying a bribe of Rs. 1000. It seems that no genuine service is possible in our country without paying bribe. I am completely against paying the bribe and hence have to suffer.
