Passport without greasing the palms
For passport identity verification, I was called to come to police station . I along with my two friends went there and after so called verification (I dont know how were they verifying, they were just asking questions, even a criminal might not be caught). When verification completed and I left the office, a policeman came to me saying "kuch" and rubbing his thumb with fingers.
I politely refused him and told him that I am preparing for IAS just to remove corruption. I cant do anything illegal. Not just money, it is the self dignity which never let me do anything illegal. I got my passport but my two friends are still waiting from 1 year and they are going to file RTI as why their passport is not being dispatched.
