Parked my car by the side of the road where a board for 'No Parking' could not be seen anywhere in the vicinity. After 10 minutes, when about to take back the car; a policeman approached me with his ticket which he was about to write. When queried about the reason, he said the car was parked in the "No Parking Zone". When I pointed out that there were no signs of "No Parking" any where near, his reply was that the parking was done at a place where there is no sign board for "Parking". When I expressed surprise at his behavior, he asked me with a suggestive style to approach the inspector who was standing a few meters away, ready to collect the bribe for the evening. I refused to pay the bribe and decided to collect the ticket and the pay the fine (for a violation which was never done). Now even after 3 months no sign boards for "No Parking" could be seen in the place, so the police can continue their "operation". See how the police can invent new areas for bribe collection; they are innovative in their areas of "operation"!! Pay bribe if you want to abide by the law !!
